Lemonade Fair: Braving the Chill and Rain

Well, friends, not every show can be sunshine and rainbows like Stone Arch! This past weekend, the Lemonade Fair on the SCSU campus was, to put it mildly, pretty rough this year.

We woke up to a full day of rain, and by the second half of the day, it had escalated into a proper downpour. Eventually, the organizers kindly gave the green light for vendors to pack up early. With so many people deciding to call it a day, including all the food vendors (which, let's be honest, is a sign things are getting serious!), we decided to pack up Lumps of Clay Studios too.

It wasn't quite the bustling market we hoped for, but I am so incredibly thankful for every single person who did brave the weather and come out! The first half of the day, it was more of a light drizzle, which really wasn't bad at all. I even took a little stroll around myself, umbrella in hand, to admire the amazing work of other vendors – always inspiring to see what other talented folks are creating, rain or shine!

So, a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who braved that chilly, wet day to support local art and artists. Your dedication means the world, even when the clouds open up! We'll hope for better skies next year.
