Heading to Bayfront!
I'm so excited to share that I'll be at the Bayfront Festival this weekend! I've been to Duluth a few times, but it’s always a quick trip. With how long the show days are, we won't have much time to explore the city, but I’m still really looking forward to being back.
This show is especially exciting for me because it’s a new crowd, and many of you haven’t seen my work before. While imposter syndrome can sometimes sneak in, I'm reminding myself that I deserve to be there and that my art has a place. One day, I hope to win a Festival Favorite award. I know it's a big goal and may be a long time coming, but seeing how much people enjoy my booth—especially the vending machine filled with tiny treasures—is incredibly motivating.
I've heard the weather might be a little unpredictable, with a chance of rain. I'm crossing my fingers for just a light drizzle or a quick storm so we can get back to the fun. This will be my last large show of the year, and with two smaller local shows no longer happening, I’m really hoping to have a successful weekend.
Wish me luck! I can't wait to soak up all the good vibes, happy people, delicious food, great music, and that amazing view of Lake Superior. Hope to see you there!
