Hello Summer, Hello Chaos! (And Thank You!)

It’s been a minute, I know!

Summer is always an absolute whirlwind around here. Between prepping inventory, packing up for shows, working the booths, recovering, and immediately pivoting to get ready for the next one (sometimes even overlapping!), it is pure bananas. But we are doing it, and honestly, pieces are still actively being created right here in the studio as we speak!

Amidst all the kiln loads and packing tape, I wanted to take a moment to hit pause and say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Being a full-time artist is a wonderfully weird world, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Behind the Scenes: Website Upgrades

In between studio sessions, I’ve finally carved out some time to work on my website—let’s just say it was way overdue for a refresh.

I’ve been doing some editing, though I’m definitely not finished yet and still need to rework a few things. Navigating the layout updates has been a bit of a quirky adventure, but we are making it work! I hope you all enjoy flipping through the new photos. Trust me, I wish I could put every single picture up here, but that would be absolute insanity! (LOL).

Upcoming Shows & Events

There is still so much fun ahead on the calendar for this fall and winter. Here is what is coming up next:

  • Golden Valley Arts Festival: September 20th

  • Fall Art Crawl: October

  • Homestead Artisans: Through the Holidays & More!

I’ll keep the events page on the website updated as more details and dates become available, so be sure to check back in.

Hope you are all doing wonderfully. Stay cool, keep creating, and I’ll see you soon!

PS. If you are an artist I am also a member of the Minnesota Artist Guild (MAG). check out their website for more info. We meet once a month and we also have a social hour typically the Tuesday after our meetings at Beaver Island Brewing at 6:30 (non alcoholic options as well, can bring in food) Free to attend.
