Millstream Festival: A Day of Sunshine, Gnomes, and Gratitude

What a perfect day! The weather couldn’t have been better for the Millstream Festival this year. It's not often we get such a beautiful day, and I was so grateful to have my booth facing away from the sun—it saved me from getting totally fried!

One of the best parts of being an artist is getting to connect with people. Millstream was no exception. I loved seeing so many familiar faces and saying hi to my repeat customers. It truly means the world to me that you all keep coming back and supporting my art. And for those of you who were new, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and sharing my little world with you. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hello. Your support is everything.

Speaking of my little world, it seems my little gnomes were a huge hit! I absolutely love that you all love them. And for those who have a keen eye, you know I love to hide them too. It’s a fun little secret between us. My art vending machine almost sold out! After Bayfront, it was only a little over half full, so to see it nearly empty with less than five pieces left was incredible. I love seeing the excitement on people's faces as they get their pieces.

Creating these mini art pieces is so much fun for me. Everything I make is done by my hands—no molds, just me, some tools, and my imagination. It's a joy to create something that brings a smile to both kids and adults.

And to the city of Saint Joseph, a heartfelt thank you. I love the vibe of your town and always look forward to visiting, especially since it's just a stone's throw away. It was a perfect setting for a perfect day.
