Fairy or Tomte Doors

I’m torn on what to call them but either way I love making them!

A Tomte is a Swedish gnome, a quiet and unseen caretaker who watches over the lives of humans and animals. On a cold winter night on a snow covered farm, Tomte teaches us about the importance of kindness and looking after living things.

A fairy is a small being, human in form, playful and having magical powers.

I put a few in our local gardens and it’s magical. I mostly rest them against a tree and put moss, nature around it. If you wanted to put one inside the house you could use a strong double sided thick tape or any strong adhesive. I have one inside my bookcase. If you want a special order it may take 2 months to complete at this time and prices may vary. Most fairy doors are $25 plus shipping. I will keep the website up to date the best I can :) If you are interested or have any questions send me an email at Lumpsofclaystudios@gmail.com
